Arabian Horses: Rare Gems

To complement the magic of beach rides, the facility has more than 80 horses, most of them being Arabian horses. The Arabian horse has been prized all over the world, because of their rich history and athletic confirmation. Being one of the oldest breeds of horses, their origins date back to around 4,500 years ago. They originated on the Arabian Peninsula and spread in all countries of the world either through trade or wars. Their physical confirmation is also distinguished by their distinctive head and high tail carriage – this athletic shape making them legendary endurance horses. Known for their exceptional intelligence and large hearts, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to ride these incredible horses in their native land.

Physiotherapy for Horses

Aayan Equestrian Club is one of the few facilities in the UAE that has a swimming pool for horses. Swimming for horses offers an effective form of physical therapy for them, as it provides virtually 100% buoyancy, reducing limb stress, improving the range of movement in joints, increasing cardiovascular and respiratory endurance and reducing distal limb swelling and oedema. In a nutshell, is one of the most beneficial aerobic exercises for horses and helps engage the horse's whole body at once, without bearing weight. A high level of physiological condition is vital if you want to achieve peak performance from your horse. Horse owners may even bring their horses to exercise in the swimming pool.
